Dutch-Ghanaian Sworn in as Board Member of State Enterprise Commission of Ghana

Minister of State, Dr. Rashid Hassan Pelpuo, on Friday, 19th August, 2016, sworn in the Board of Directors of the State Enterprise Commission (SEC) at the Flagstaff House in Accra.

Hon. Pelpuo tasked the newly constituted board to deal effectively with corruption and fraudulent activities that are stifling the growth of state-owned enterprises, adding that it was unfortunate that most state-owned enterprises (SOEs) continued to perform poorly despite the numerous resources at their disposal and tasked the board to focus more on ensuring that SOE’s functioned efficiently.

OPCW Opens Registration for 21st Session of the Conference of States Parties

The Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) in The Hague has opened the registration process for Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) willing to participate in the 21st Session of the Conference of States Parties, which will take place from 28th November, 2016, to 2nd December, 2016.
