Entry visa Applications are received on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 10hrs to 13hrs. It takes four (4) working days to process applications however, an emergency visa which, attracts double the normal fee, may be processed in the same day. Types of Visas
Visa Application Requirements An applicant is required to fulfil the following requirements when applying for a Ghana entry visa;

Additional Information: Business visas: Applicant’s in this category are required to submit in addition to the above, a letter from the applicant’s organisation in the Netherlands stating among other things the reasons for the visit and a supporting/invitation letter from the applicant’s Business Associates in Ghana. Please use the names and addresses of Business Associates as your references in Ghana. Visitors/Tourist Visas: Applicants are required to provide names and addresses of two (2) references one of which may be the Hotel where the applicant will be lodging. Study Visas: Applicants for Study Visas must support their applications with a letter from their Institutions in the Netherlands stating the purpose of the visit and financial means whilst in Ghana. A letter of acceptance from the Institution in Ghana is also required. For references purpose applicants should use the name of the Institution in Ghana as their reference. *Employment Visas: Applicants for Employment Visas are required to submit in addition to their application form an Employment Contract and a proof of Grant of Employment Quota in Ghana. Children Travelling on Parents Passports: Applicants travelling with children should please note that only one child is allowed to travel on a parent’s passport. Other children may have to use their own passports. The name and date of birth of the Child must be entered in the appropriate section of the Application Form of the accompanying parent. Four (4) recent passport size photographs of the Child must be submitted in addition to that of the parent. Please note that all supporting documents for an application must be submitted in English Visa Fees.All payments in respect of consular services must be made by Cash. Normal visa application takes four (4) working days. An emergency visa which attracts double the normal fee may be processed in the same day. The following are the various fees charged for different types of visas issued by the Consular Section: Single Entry Visa valid for 3 months (normal application) - €50 Single Entry Visa valid for 3 months (Emergency) - €100 Multiple Entry Visa valid for 3 months (Normal) - €100 Multiple Entry Visa valid for 3 months (Emergency) - €200 Multiple Entry Visa valid for 6 months (Normal) - €150 Multiple Entry Visa valid for 6 months (Emergency) - €300 Multiple Entry Visa valid for 1 year (Normal) - €200 Multiple Entry Visa valid for 1 year (Emergency) - €400 Please note that visa application fees are non-refundable Exempted CountriesThe following categories of persons are exempted from obtaining entry visas to Ghana:
b. Nationals of Kenya, Malaysia, Singapore, Egypt and Hong Kong Special Administrative Region c. Holders of German, Cuban and Brazilian Diplomatic/Service Passports.
2. Nationals of the following Commonwealth East and Southern African countries may obtain gratis visas at a point of entry in Ghana or at the Embassy.
