Ghana’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of the Netherlands

Ghana’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Her Excellency Ms. Sophia Horner-Sam presented her Letters of Credence to His Majesty King Willem-Alexander of the Kingdom of the Netherlands at the Royal Palace in The Hague, on Wednesday 25th October, 2017.

At exactly 11.00hrs, the Ambassador was received by a Royal Chamberlain to His Majesty the King and escorted in two Royal carriages to the palace. Her Excellency was accompanied by four of her staff, who rode in the second carriage.

The Ambassador and her staff were dressed in the colourful Ghanaian Kente cloth. There was a guard of honour mounted in the Ambassador’s at the “Paleis Noordeinde” consisting of a guard commander and two detachments provided by the Royal Netherlands Air Force base Gilze-Rijen. After a salute of four drum rolls the Ghana National Anthem was played, followed with an inspection of the guard of honour by Her Excellency, Ms. Sophia Horner-Sam.
